just use the flasher to reflash the kernel

this line will do it

flasher-3.5.exe -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R

in windows anyway for linux

sudo ./flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R
