Fair enough of a criticism here. The design idea is that after a video is converted *and* it's copied to the device, it's removed from the queue. This way you can leave uncopied movies in the queue until you're ready to deal with them at a later time. Imagine a use case where you're converting movies, but you don't have your tablet handy to copy them over right away and hopefully that makes more sense.
