Thanks for answer.
But that is not the case.
Both p8 and p9 are size of 2GB.
But when I mount p7 (which is 4GB), then I would get a 2GB sized partition according to your algorithm, But indeed it is sized 4GB as expected. And formatted, whereas the others not yet.
And: even an extended and also an empty partition gets shown in /dev/, or? As it is show/confirmed from outpout of sfdisk (/dev/mmcblk0p9 2GB Linux partition)..
