so due to all the repo funkiness, carelessness with packages/apps/repos i installed, my n900 has issues. Im unable to install backupmenu due to dependency issues that just keep going layers deeper or not at all when i try to get the packages manually. CSSU is messed up, repos are a mess, and i want a fresh nand/kernel to rebuild.

I have bootmenu installed, and linux/win 7 pc's along with extensive exp imaging/partitioning/dual booting pc's, at least with windows, but not a complete noob with linux.

Is there any way to image my N900 completey using a live os/ping/ubcd/etc software, from a pc, and put it on the emmc, then virgin install (reflash) the nand? dualboot into both until i have my nand setup correctly?

any ideas on how to do this, or fix backup menu dependencies so it can install, are most welcome apprecciated.
