For password issue, delete all your accounts by doing the following as regular user in terminal:

rm -rf /home/user/.aegis
rm -rf /home/user/.accounts
rm -rf /home/user/.activesync
You want you can delete the nitdroid folders as root too


However, the best solution is simply a full rootfs+emmc flash; solves all the headaches you may encounter
