Wikiwide - that's exactly the sort of thing I'm scared of! However you say to ask to see pictures of the device. What sort of thing should I be looking for in the pictures? Or would it be as obvious as a screen crack/duff USB port? I don't think I've ever seen an n900 with my own eyes so I wouldn't know what a dodgy one looks like

Thanks for the informative posts so far, I'm always a bit hesitant buying new devices and the fact that the n900 is an older device has made that hesitation worse :P
