E.g. there are some bsd-style-licensed packages which Nokia closed (libjpeg62), and some open source packages, which Nokia bought commercial license and closed. They are free in Debian.

Thanks. I was just curious, as I like Maemo5 and it is possible to chroot Debian on android phone it might be interesting to run Maemo5 on top of that. Probably too complicated but fun to try!
