Use Red Pill mode (easier) or dpkg -i from terminal.

On the subject, the N800 is definitely not suitable. It just about plays an episode of little Britain with mplayer and most of my other vids lag like hell. What I don't get is that an N73 with coreplayer and a 220MHz plays movies fine and a N800 with an 400Mhz processor cant. I wouldn't care if I had to watch the videos in an limited size but I don't even have the option to do that. Although with proper conversion, it plays nicely.

But I think I will have to buy an Archos/Pocket PC/S60 device for my videos and use my N800 for the internet (which is what I bought it for and am happy with how it does on the internet)
