Well thanks but i have tried that option. I have downloaded the following firmwares already
DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3.339.2_PR_LEGACY_339_ARM_RM-696_PRD_signed.bin
DFL61_HARMATTAN_10.2011.34-1_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin

But the flasher seems to ignore these firmwares...it does not flash...but when i flash then with the first firmware image ie DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3.280.04.1_PR_LEGACY_280_ARM_RM-696_PRD_signed.bin it flashes but the same problem arises...can't change the network mode.
