you could always try to make the i386 version work using qemu-i386, maybe you can get it working with qemu-i386 only
or you could try to set up an i386 chroot on the n9, i have been able to run quite a few programs via this method, so it might be worth a try.

(i've been able to run the command line version of maple on my n9 using qemu-i386, and the full gui version of maple on my old n900 by modfying the application to use a native java runtime for the gui and using qemu for the maple core binaries)

the weirdest possible way would be qemu-i386 + wine (an i386 version) + the windows version of zc :P
