Got word last night (GMT +10) via twitter form @JollaHQ that they will be ensuring Jolla devices will be available worldwide.
Also suggested that the community can help by making local dealers and operators aware that there is a demand via requests/emails etc.

Have already activated "serial pest" mode with local Aus operators.
