I mean technology always moves forwards, but sometimes it takes certain leaps.

For instance, tech really took a leap:
'03- From 69MHz and 16MB RAM
'05- To 100MHz and 64MB RAM (GUI's became feasible)
'07- To 400MHz, ARMv6 and 128MB RAM (Processing vastly improved)
'10- To 1GHz, Dedicated GPU, and 512MB RAM (Modern-day computing achieved)
'12- To 1.5GHz, Dualcore, 1GB RAM (Improvements across the board, console like gaming)
'14/'15- To 2GHz, 64-bit, 4GB RAM (desktop grade performance)

The in-between leaps didn't make much difference.
(eg/ Nexus One vs Desire HD)

An N900 fares well against a 3GS in performance, but is notably underwhelming against a 4.
Just as the N9 is notably weaker than a SGSII or 4S.
Will the Jolla-phone provide us with impressive console-like performance while the industry makes the leap to Desktop Grade performance?
