Judging from the pretty high resolution pictures from Trusted Reviews (added to 3rd post), I would say the currently used display has a qHD (960×540) resolution. I checked how much space one pixel uses in the pictures and counted that up to the pixels used for display width. The result was 555,3. Not that far away from 540 and the angle wasn't 100% correct. I'm pretty sure it's qHD at the moment.
