Better yet, see if there's anything you recognize from this:

ls -la /home/user/MyDocs
If the fs were hosed, it would likely be mounted read-only, but it's not from the mount command output. It could just be something new is holding onto it and it's not unmounting, therefore not sharing via USB?
If you see files from the above command try this:
Disconnect the N900 from everything.
Close ALL applications on the N900.
Type the following into an xterm:
Code:
cd / root cd / unmount /home/user/MyDocs
Then plug the device into the PC and see if it shows the files. If there's an error on any step, post that here.
If it does show it mounted on your PC, but no files, it may be worth trying to do a repair from there.
