one usage i see in it for me is while running at night - there are dark roads where cars are driving (the N900 is tied to my wrist) - a flash every few seconds really make you visible (there are flashlights for bikes that does a similar thing). Can you make the configured flashes work without a constant button press?

Another suggestion for the morse code - allow it to transmit the message in a continuous loop.
