I wonder if MyPaint will work better in there or could there be a way to make the brushes to utilize all cores if possible. BTW, I never get MyPaint to run properly with OC'ed N900 however.. either crashing during starting or using. It's already better than those Samsungs at this point, however.
I'm OC at 950MHZ with smart reflex turned off if that helps.

I agree with the galaxy note phone/tablets, I used a 10.1 months ago at a store and was disappointed by the performance, then I used a note 2 and same problem, and it's sad to see the same problem with note 8.

the only hope with them is to dual boot debian natively and run mypaint from it, so far that's only been done with the note 10.1.

However here are the things to look out for: 1 Asus is releasing a Fonepad stylus soon with an atom cpu that I think might be faster than current ARM cpus, and since it's Asus it might be easier to dual boot GNU/Linux, 2. Lenovo is releasing an 8 inch windows tablet with active digitiser. 3. Wacom are going to announce their own portable tablet in a few week looking forward to this because it will be the first computer tablet made specifically for artists, I hope they put a nice matte coating on the screen so it feels like a resistive screen
