My N9 died without any warning, first time i tried to reboot, get stuck in the logo, then, the image was corrupted, reboot it again, but this time no image, so long for 3 or 4 times, then i tought was an flat battery problem, tried the malf state fix, i could never mount the device, then flash it, but never get image back, now im just trying recover my data, my phone has a code, i tried this:


There is a quick way to boot the device to maintanance mode and telnet into it. This would make sure if the problem is indeed the screen or if the device does not boot at all.

Get my MOSLO based maintanance boot from svn repository;
"svn co https://toosa.swagman.org/svn/sillykbd/TRUNK/moslo", and have a look at the README file for details.

If you can telnet to the device you can be sure it's just the screen that is broken.
Also, you can manually export your mmcblk partition via the USB connection to take backup on external PC, if you for example need to send the device for repair.
but, never boots, after i flash the moslo img

im love this phone, never felt this way before about a phone, i dont need android, i want this phone for ever, i bought another and im planning get a third one (used) for parts.
