I took mine to best buy and walked around looking at everything from GPS to camera to portable game system cases to see what fit best and I ended up with this:

Seems to offer plenty of protection from the everyday bumps, but i wouldn't trust it if i dropped it from 5' or anything. Also includes a divider inside that serves as memory storage (will hold any size cards) and protects your screen from anything that's in the mesh pocket.
