Ok, maybe this is covered elsewhere but a quick search didn't turn up anything in particular.
Yes, my GPS is pretty terrible. Even with warm starts I get a lock time of at least 2-3 minutes. Average time is between 5-10 minutes.
So, I'm wondering. Can anyone tell me just exactly where the GPS antenna is located? Like, what position should I hold the N810 in to get an optimum view of the sky for the GPS antenna. I even used this thing while I was on the plane once at at 20k ft it still took 10 minutes to lock. So maybe I'm just holding it wrong.
I've also tried the system reboot trick, and running the Map program first and then Maemo mapper. Mostly I'm just interested in finding out the best way to hold it.....
