I haven't heard of the first person banned because he/she was using Yappari normally (and not doing something wrong like using the same phone number in Yappari and in other device at the same time or spamming people).

So, I won't believe it until I see it. Right now it is pretty hard for WhatsApp Inc. to differentiate a Yappari connection from an official client. I can't even think a way for them to do it.

They would have to change the WHOLE protocol again. They have done it in the past already (once).

What I *can* say is that the new registration protocol is not easy to crack. So it's probable that soon nobody can register new accounts using third-party applications.

EDIT: On a final note I want to say that Yappari is not and have never been based on Wazapp. It is based on my own cracking/reversing of the protocol. We don't share any code, not even the registration is the same. If Wazapp users get banned doesn't mean Yappari users will. Both programs are totally different. I have really made an effort throughout this past year to stealth Yappari as an official client and I REALLY doubt Yappari users will get banned unless WhatsApp develops a new whole protocol.
