Now I wonder why this little scrolling was responsible for all those spikes in CPU Load and if there is a nicer alternative (as an RSS Applet!) which doesn't stress the CPU that much.
This used to be one of my most used applications on the 770. Now, I have disabled it on my n800 running 2008. I noticed the same thing a while back. Why not have it like it used to be, this scrolling business is lame and does not optimize the usefulness. When I look at the rss reader, I want to see the headlines all in a row, I don't want to scroll or wait for the next headline to scroll. This needs to be fixed and the space between the lines needs to be reduced.
