My guess was before they ssaid Qt5/Wayland that they may release around december but now I would not be suprised if they change to begining of next year. For two reasons: 1. Migration may take more time than expected. After testing the latest SDK I have seen more issues than the old release. 2. The reason theyt swicth to wayland could be related to libhybris eg: they decided to go for some GFX HW that only supports Android drivers. But that I am not trying to be negative. Just saying... However if Wayland/Qt slows don release I def not have a problem with that cause stick to Qt4.8 would harm alot more atleast on the app area...
I hope switch to Wayland is accompanied with native drivers, and not with libhybris, and it's made because Wayland simply performs better.
