Hi Benz,

Sorry for the trouble, it seems that you (and some others) were really unluck with the update, and we would just love to find out what causes this to solve it. IT seems that a combination of things causes those problems. If you don't bother.. send to us what repositories you have installed.

About the removal, pablop posted in the ITT the list of packages you should remove,

but you can try (as root, so you need to either connect to SSH or become root on the device - tutoriais available on the maemo website)

and do a

apt-get -f remove canola2

and after that.. remove the following packages :
