After installing opensudo you need give a pass for USER.
Run this as ROOT:
After this run my command. You don't heve to wait 24h, its updated automatically every few sec/min. I think its also related to close/open of lockscreen/lps.
After running this command, wait 3-5 sec, if it will not change, try to close/open lockscreen/lps..
In my tweak it use another script, that run in background and every 10 sec it checking if the operator name restored and if yes, it change it again to your name.

PS. How you installed opensudo ? With coderus aegis-install or open mode ?

Another simple way to change operator name, just use Home Screen setting application for this purpose.
