I'm waiting on word from Mer team. Anyone who can get on IRC in the mean time is free to ask too. (stuck at work at the moment).
If true, and HID over I2C is supported, life gets a lot easier.
Will troll mer kernel conf. files tonight to see if it's already in the arm build, as I couldn't find it in PC builds today
