I'd say that was the suggestion

Benefits of exFAT are that it's native windows compatible, so you need no fancy 3rd party FS extensions on your windows box. And it supports the lrger files just like extFSn

Cons are that it's still windows FS, no support for permissions. (but you'd not notice that on windows, only when mounted inside the device)
