I see.
Yesterday in the evening I tried to resurrect my qemu-arm VM but due to some recent* bug in qemu it can't boot from hdd images anymore. Now one needs to boot from an nfs share which I haven't set up so far.
My first attempt to circumvent the qemu bug was to run qemu in a VBox Squeeze VM, but the qemu VM wasn't running stable.
So I started a dist-upgrade of my Wheezy image on the N900 in the morning, holding on to the desperate hope that the watchdog won't kill it.
I'll know more when I'm back home.
