This behaviour occours in the second and third timer. The first timer deletes the leading sign immediatly after unpausing, the others don't.
Forgot to add some code to the second and third timer. Now I did.

bug:
- create a dish with a short period of time (10 sec) for testing perposes
- set it on start
- restart cooktimer
- start that countdown and activate testing mode
- wait 20 sec (or 2 times your adjusted period of time)
-> an alarm banner is shown
Did not notice that as I use no startup dishes. Corrected.

Request: open a dialog "set time for <dish>: yes/no" by double press on the orange time counter bar in testing mode.
Too lazy for a few clicks ? Could very well be too much work for something I won't use. If it looks like a simple addition: maybe later.

The banner label might be changed then into "adjusting mode (de)activated".
Stopwatch mode, testing mode, adjusting mode .... from now on I will refer to "Continue mode"

My intention was to not go that way. But as we already went in that direction a bit and did not effect the original cooktimer look and feel: why not?
Long pressing the time picker button (the middle button) will now switch to stopwatch mode.

Another useful idea I had was an option for a global adjustable "beep" every 'x' seconds each stopwatch counts.
I can't really imagine a purpose for that myself. Just maybe in a later release, who knows...

With all this "hidden" long-press features, I also decided to add an help page to explain them globally.

Verions 0.0.4-11 in the repo.
