ok, so I have no problems with news+analysis, analysis being some of us commenting "oh, this implies this, this can be inferred because of that" and all that. What I find counter productive is never-ending-venting, even though I am totally with the folks that get annoyed with Jolla.

To your other point about limiting the posts to just news, I think that'd be great for something that will last at least a couple of months... not sure this will, but I am not exactly Nostradamus to judge the future.

On the other hand, if we can't resist the OT posts, then we kind of deserve a mixed thread ;-) At the end of the day, news get repeated, republished, retweeted, re-diaspora'd. I haven't bumped into any piece a news only once, well, except for jollausers.com that actually based their article on another article, so technically it's a dupe but worded differently.
