There's one remark in the above article that I find pretty ugly, it is a joke/anecdote attributed to the former french president and if he really said that at some point I find it pretty unfriendly and unthinking from a person in such a position;

Now, I'd really like to know what the said official knows about so many european cuisines that he can offer such pearls of wizdom from his high chair...
...oh but he's french, I forgot. That must explain it...
