You could try SLIP/PPP over a USB-RS232 adapter, but I'm not sure (and not optimistic) about getting those without admin access to the Windows machine... which you can obtain, if they haven't locked out booting from removable media, but it's no doubt a serious policy violation. (More serious than hooking up a private network directly connected to the company's network, though I'm sure that's a policy violation, already)
