Is this development for the next update or further updates to the firmware or an added "program" feature?

"general USB-in device" Does this mean when connecting a regular usb device (if plug-n-play) it will auto play or read the device plugged in? I see this achieved with the 4 and 5 pin on the usb connected together/rigged will allow this to happen.
