This seems the most relevant thread to put this so....

I have been having issues with uploading large files to garage.

It seems if the .tar file is large, extras assistant will timeout.
Giving errors like

Checking your files:
File upload error. (tar file) Please try to upload your packages again!
You will need to use scp in this instance.
