Personally I must say I'm kinda happy that I haven't received my Jolla yet...playing with it would take away to much of my time which I badly need for other things till the holidays. So I'm not that bothered by the fact the phone isn't in my hands yet.

Even though some of the Jolla workers give us hints here and there on Twitter and/or TMO, the official communication of Jolla is really bad and not "Unlike" or community friendly at all. We blindly entrusted them with our money - in a moment where nobody knew what the Jolla phone would be. Even now we entrust them again with a lot of money by buying those devices (all in all Euro 800 in my case) - so us soon-to-be Jolla users have been very open in supporting a small, unknown company.

Why isn't Jolla that open towards us? Why is it so difficult to tell what's going wrong with delivery? Why are some official and unofficial statements so vague and secretive? We're not stupid people here and belong to the curious ones (someone who isn't curious wouldn't try a Jolla) - I think it would be fair to share their issues with us in a more convenient way.

The secretiveness (now and previously) honestly has been bothering me a bit. Of course sometimes it was justified (to protect their product from other companies, etc), but not always IMO.

So this isn't really a complained (but I like to question certain things), because I trust/believe in Jolla and appreciate their extremely hard work a lot now before Christmas (I already appreciate a lot that Jolla even exists!!). But I really hope that communication improves in the future and that Jolla becomes what they label themselves on social networks.

But I don't expect yet that everything works perfect for such a young and small company. What they already achieved is unbelievable huge. Focus was on creating a new device incl. operation system. So I totally understand that there wasn't much time yet to develop other parts of the company. So my words here are wishes for the future

They call us all "Sailors" - but a sailor needs to know what direction the wind is blowing and where the main boat is heading to - or where it got stuck in (delivery issues...).
