I was thinking exactly the same thing. Not sure why the OP had a go at you on that though. Clearly, someone has no idea what 3G is or how it works.

To the OP: In theory, using USB OTG mode on the iT, you could hook up an external radio device such as a WiMax receiver or an EVDO modem (if one exists) via USB, but you'd still need drivers to make it work
