UPDATE: Plugged in battery again. Zip.
Plugged in charger, battery indicator went on. Waited five minutes, fired PlayThing up. All's well.
Unplugged recharger to see what screen indicator... um... indicates. Battery is extremely low.
But, like I said, it was damned near full less than 90 minutes before when I was checking an email downstairs and I closed all applications down whenever I put it back in the bag.
I'm still uneasy about this whole episode. Among the first posts I wrote was about the wacky battery never seeming to be fully charged, regardless of how long I left PlayThing off and recharging.
I guess I'll have to see what happens in the next week or so (before the return policy shuts me out)... .
