Unless you do some super-tech vodoo, it's considered unrepairable. Sorry for you.

As for magnet, theoretically, it would be possible to "cheat" device software-wise to always read "magnet present", but I'm not sure to what extent it would allow camera to work (or not). Also, you won't have flash leds, obviously.
