How many applications can I download on to the device?
The internal memory of the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet set the limit to the amount of applications that can be downloaded on to the device. RS-MMC cannot be used as storage for applications. There is roughly about 50MB of free memory on the device for new applications.

Will current applications at maemo.org be compatible with Internet Tablet OS 2006 edition?
No, current applications at maemo.org will not be compatible with the Internet Tablet OS 2006 edition.

Maemo is a developer platform that supports application development for Internet Tablet OS editions. Applications that are currently available at maemo.org are mostly developed using maemo 1.1 version which is compatible only with the Internet Tablet OS 2005 edition. The new version, maemo 2.0, supports application development for the Internet Tablet OS 2006 edition and be launched at around the same time as the Internet Tablet OS 2006 edition.

A porting guide will be made available at maemo.org which will explain the porting process to migrate the existing OS 2005 applications to the OS 2006 edition.
