I recently bought a mex-bt2500 which supports both bluetooth calling and bluetooth audio streaming via avrcp. My os2008 powered n800 automatically recognizes the reciever as a headset in hfd therefore not connecting via avrcp. As a result the music quality is extreamly poor. I can connect 2 devices at the same time to this device but my n800 is not recognizing the avrcp oprtion of my reciever. I believe the problem is that the device connections are the same name XPLOD therefore the n800 recognizes the avrcp connection as a duplicate and ignores it dissalowing the avrcp connection.
Can someone help me please. I don't want headset quality music playback.
Am i wrong in thinking the os2008 supports avrcp and ad2p
Thanks
