For me the lack of an equaliser is a dealbreaker to using my 770 as an mp3 player - the default settings are really bass-light and there's a lot of shrill top-end (for my earphones anyway)... probably optimised for that little built-in speaker.

So for now I use TCPMP on my phone (and carry that little MMC Mobile adapter around so I can swap files with the 770)...

IMHO we need a better meda player on the 770 for day to day use..
