I wasn't sure, how the update process is done best, but what i did worked very well, so i'll just write it down here
  1. quit mitäkuuluu1
  2. install mitäkuuluu2
  3. register
  4. quit mitäkuuluu2
  5. remove /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-mitakuuluu2/harbour-mitakuuluu2/database.db
  6. start mitäkuuluu2 (will take some time for import, just wait)
  7. deinstall mitäkuuluu1
  8. reboot

btw: could someone please correct the spelling of "Gallerie" in the German translation, this looks horrible
