Try to copy/paste on device.
It is
cat /proc/cpuinfo
with a blank between cat and /

Same applies to.
cat /proc/meminfo
(and take care to push blue fn key together with 'v' )

About output of
lshal -l
I would suggest to pipe to file and then attach that file here.(output is really long.) [Or copy/paste from x-term]
Code:
lshal -l > /home/user/MyDocs/lshal.txt
You will find that file on MyDocs./.N900 folder when connected via USB.
