If you are planning on waiting rather than upgrading, start downloading apps now that you might need.
Over on the developer mailing lists they are discussing deleting all the wiki application directory stuff as soon as 2006 is rolled out, only adding back apps that are 2006 ported.
While this will avoid problems with folks trying to run 2005 apps on 2006, it totally destroys the ability to look up apps for those of us that are planning on staying with 2005 for debian arm compatibility.
I'm not planning on signing up to dev to debate this with the experts, they would shoot me down in seconds...
