My apologies if this is discussed elsewhere.

After doing a sudo gainroot/apt-get update and restarting, my N800 running OS 2008 gets past the "hands" start screen before the screen goes white for a few seconds and the N800 reboots. Then it gets past the "hands" start screen before the screen goes white for a few seconds and the N800 reboots... over and over.

The only cure is a reflash?
