Yeah he is a pretty great guy...one of the best dispositions I've seen in a dog. That is ..bottom-line... what has us adopting him...good attitude.
Honestly ...I used to pretty much be a dog person....liked cats but favoured dogs...but decades later I have mellowed and cats have infiltrated my heart against my better judgement...
We got cats that save people from bears and cougars out here...
Some pretty good youtube footage of fast kitties not frightened at all of some pretty mean and intimidating animals...in some... pretty hairy situations...Big brutes don't know what to do against the spitting hissing furry lightning fast lil' katz. hehe

In the end our cat "Cat-O" convinced me Eddie is ok....he snuggled up to Eddie and that was that. If Cat-O likes him...then it's a done deal.

Best thing about animal companions is that they keep us "real" ...keep us human...remind us what is important. And have better judgement of people than we do.

In that vein...I have always had a difficult time with feeling comfortable around strangers my dogs did not like.
Or in feeling comfortable around people who didn't have (or past tense "had" for those souls who lost theirs...) an animal companion of some kind. Doesn't matter what kind of companion in my books, feline, avian, bovine, equine, porcine, reptile, or spider.....had many growing up on the farm....all are valid friends....I understand llamas are really personable and very complex ...wouldn't mind a llama bud.


On a another note...pretty bare screen there....compose us a sonnet my good man...
