Get out of your filter bubbles guys!

The "big players" aren't pushing something to the market that nobody wants except for some weird people who are only interested in bling. Otherwise they wouldn't be the "big players".
They are delivering exactly what the majority wants (partly because they successfully talked them into wanting this - it's called marketing).

WE are the weird guys, the ones choosing a HW keyboard over a slim device, a truly open platform over the biggest appstore, and a ton of sensors over the latest SoC.
WE are the ones not being normal. But as someone once told me, being normal is not a desirable condition, except for unit vectors.
