I don't think there is any torrent client in Maemo that is capable of opening magnet links. Certainly transmission 1.76 is not capable.

I can open magnet links in Easy Debian with transmission, however. I had to change some desktop files in Easy Debian to add transmission as a magnet handler, so when I download a magnet file in Chromium and click on it transmission opens it. I'm using Estel's image, by the way.
