Hello,
My N900's touchscreen is failing. It doesn't register pressure in lower right corner and around it properly - buttons change colors but don't get pressed, sometimes it even stops working at all. Recalibration attempts made things even worse, had to use
sudo tscalibrate reset
.
Replacement touchscreen will arrive in ages. I have a few android phones for temporary replacements to choose from - however, it will take some time to set any of them up, and anyway I need N900 today and probably tomorrow.
Is there a way to control N900 via
keyboard only
in case I need to make a call while touchscreen fails completely, or at least a way to turn on and setup bluetooth from xterm so I could connect a mouse?
I could also use some advice on lightning-fast way of transferring contacts from N900 to Android.
