The
free versions
of GTA and GTA2 are modified from the originals so they will run on new computers and Windows versions. These and even the original DOS version of the first GTA was compiled to run on Intel x86 compatible processors, not on ARM which the Internet Tablets have. And as the source code of the games is not available, it would be extremely difficult (and most likely illegal) to reverse engineer them to run on the ITs.
However, it is possible to run the Game Boy Color versions of GTA and GTA2 using an emulator, for example Gambatte. But the GBC versions are not free.

Got fed up with constant reboots and poor hardware quality. The 770 is gathering dust, I'm now using a netbook and a Android phone.
