I think that's actually a Gecko bug, it happens on the Android version of Firefox as well.

So anything that doesn't follow the traditional (and in fact quite stupid) desktop paradigm isn't a real desktop? If you prefer working with a desktop like that, great, but that doesn't make them more 'real' than other ones. I quite like what GNOME Shell has become by now, even though I still use some extensions to modify the functionality - then again, using extensions instead of hacks to modify the functionality of the desktop is entirely the point. (And in case the GNOME developers really **** things up, there is always Enlightenment. Which could actually also be used as another UI for Sailfish considering it's so unbelievably lightweight.) Of course I'm going a bit off-topic here.
